Turkey is not just Istanbul. The right city depends on the season and the type of trip, and on whether you are looking for shopping, the sea, nature or cooler weather.
Istanbul
The most varied choice for a first visit: history, shopping, restaurants, Bosphorus cruises and distinct neighbourhoods.
Antalya
Ideal for resorts, beaches and families, especially for those who prefer a comfortable stay over daily travel.
Trabzon and the north
Perfect for lovers of nature, highlands and a quiet atmosphere — success depends on the season and the weather.
More cities
You can extend the trip to Bursa, Cappadocia or coastal towns depending on your time and interests.
How to choose
A one-week trip can focus on one region or two cities, while moving between distant regions can make the programme tiring.
Tips before booking
- Compare the final cost, not just the starting price.
- Review the cancellation and change policy before paying.
- Keep a copy of your bookings and travel documents on your phone and in your email.
- For anything related to visas or entry, check the official source again before you travel.
